We were delighted to be awarded an AA Rosette in April 2014 and to join a very select group of restaurants achieving this level; it is an accolade of which we are justifiably proud.So what can you expect when dining at The Coach House Restaurant? That’s probably best explained by quoting from the AA itself who say “These restaurants achieve standards that stand out in their local area. They serve food prepared with care, understanding and skill, using good quality ingredients.”

While social distancing rules are in place we are operating the Stable Bar Bistro and Coach House Restaurant as one with a single combined menu. A sample menu is shown on this page and a Specials Board will also be available.

Our Head Chef, James Cooper

With a short break when he travelled around Europe pursuing his interest in good food, James has been with us since 2012 and was responsible for us gaining our AA rosette in 2013. His style of food is modern British, making the very best of the wonderful local ingredients from the region in which we have the privilege to live.
